Meghan Markle's favourite designer, Clare Waight Keller, unveiled a collection of sharp lines contrasted with soft touches.

Oversized bows, latex leggings and mesh skirts were on show at Givenchy's Spring Summer 2019 haute couture collection during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (January 22).

Meghan Markle favourite, Clare Waight Keller, unveiled a collection of sharp lines contrasted with soft touches.

Latex, what Waight Keller had called "couture leather", was used for black leggings paired with a blazer and a single royal blue sleeve accenting a ruffled black dress. Waight Keller has associated the material with modernity, shine and colour.

Frilly lace skirts combined with meticulously tailored suits, while supersized bows were attached like wings to the models' backs.

Tassles, cigarette pants and mesh layers overs short skirts also defined the collection's balance of structure and softness.

Haute Couture Fashion Week, which ended until Jan. 24, celebrates an elite club of designers turning out elaborate, one-of-a-kind looks.
