Steve Harvey's talk show to feature on Facebook Watch

Comedian and TV host Steve Harvey will now be making his return to talk show as he announced a Facebook Watch show titled ‘Steve’.

Facebook Watch, a streaming platform by the social media giant will launch ‘Steve’ on January 6. It will be a continuation of Steve, the syndicated talker that was cancelled earlier this year.

Like its previous show, this one too is owned by Harvey and Endeavor Content. Content’s branded content arm, Film 45, will produce with Harvey's East 112. 

Dr Phil and The Queen Latifah Show veteran Ianthe Jones will executive produce the show.

Steve Harvey said in a statement, "Reaching my audience anywhere and everywhere they are has always been the goal. Facebook Watch viewers are the most energetic, engaged community, and so are my amazing fans. Getting all those people to directly engage on a platform like this is the perfect evolution of the show.”

Previous to this, Steve Harvey hosted a show on his name produced by EndemolShine North America and NBCUniversal, from 2012-17. 

For all those interested in knowing what the show will be all about, Steve on Watch will feature the comedian discussing his thoughts on the issues of the day along with some interviews with celebrities, musicians and others. 

Steve on Watch has been initially planned for a run for 10 weeks with multiple segments per week.
