Sooryavanshi: Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif share BTS photo from 'Tip Tip Barsa Pani' remake

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif will star in the remake of 90’s hit song ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani’ for their film ‘Sooryavanshi’. We informed you earlier how Akshay was relieved that him and not any other actor will get to do the song again after he first starred in the original with Raveena Tandon.
He had then tweeted that he would have been disappointed if any other actor would have recreated the song.
To keep their fans interested with updates on the film, the duo has now shared photos of their song shoot. The BTS shoot has them with their heads wrapped in white towels. They captioned the photo: “Singing in the rain #sooryavanshi @akshaykumar @itsrohitshetty @farahkhankunder.”
Akshay will be seen playing the role of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, Chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad while Katrina will play the character of his on-screen wife.

The film was recently in the news when Rohit Shetty announced that ‘Sooryavanshi’ release date has been pushed as it had to make way for Salman Khan’s film ‘Inshallah’ that is set to release next Eid. Akshay’s fans were not happy when Rohit made the announcement.
