More than two decades back when Union Minister Smriti Irani moved to Mumbai from her hometown Delhi, she had met Saif Ali Khan who had dolled out some advice to the newcomer on how to survive the world of showbiz.

Reminiscing about the old times, Irani recently posted a selfie with Khan after they met at Isha Ambani's wedding on Wednesday. Check out photos of the wedding here.

Irani wrote, "23 years ago a rising Star gave a rookie from Delhi advice on how to survive in the chaos of the maximum city; a few tips here & there as to how her dreams can take flight. Little did he know the rookie will turn into a Jumbo Jet 😂Thank you for the memories #saifalikhan"

Irani, who was a huge TV star before she made her foray into politics is best known for her role as Tulsi Virani in Ekta Kapoor's 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'.

Khan, meanwhile, has reinvented his career graph recently by starring in Netflix original 'Sacred Games' which earned rave reviews across the world.

At Isha Ambani's wedding, Khan came with his actress wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and sister-in-law Karisma Kapoor.
