A few days back, a viral video of a toddler trying to wake up his dead mother at Bihar's Muzaffarpur railway station had gone viral. The heartwrenching video had shocked the entire country and everyone wondered who would take care of the child.

Shah Rukh Khan's organisation Meer Foundation has now helped the little one with financial aid.

"#MeerFoundation is thankful to all who helped us reach this child, whose heart-wrenching video of trying to wake his mother disturbed all. We are now supporting him and he is under his grandfather's care," the foundation announced in a statement and shared a photo of the toddler with his family.

Shah Rukh Khan too took to social media to say, "Thank you all for getting us in touch with the little one. We all pray he finds strength to deal with the most unfortunate loss of a parent. I know how it feels...Our love and support is with you baby."

The actor has also been helping many others in need amid pandemic. Recently, when West Bengal was severely affected by the cyclone Amphan, Shah Rukh along with wife Gauri Khan reached out to victims along with IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. The actor and his wife had earlier offered their office space to BMC to use as a quarantine centre.

The actor has also made contributions to Delhi, Maharashtra and West Bengal PM funds and provided 25,000 PPE kits to medical workers in Maharashtra.
