Khan said that he watched the film after his children recommended it to him and found it 'delightfully discomforting'. "Just saw Parasite the South Korean movie on my kids recommendation. What a delightfully discomforting film. A  bizarre look at social status, the state of the world...and the parasitic nature of the Materialistic Hope we all feed and live off!!"

Khan who has been taking an acting break ever since his film 'Zero' released in December 2018, has in the past stated that he is not in a rush to sign any film and that he is catching up on films and books in his free time now. 

Bong Joon-ho's film 'Parasite' won the prestigious Palm dÓr award at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival where it premiered. The film has been making the rounds of various international film festivals ever since and is also South Korea's official entry to Oscars 2020 in the Best International Feature Film category. 

The black comedy, 'Parasite' tells the story of a low-income family working their way into a rich family`s lives as household employees.
