Story highlights

Sara Ali Khan's first film 'Kedarnath' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput will release on December 21.

There’s something about newcomer Sara Ali Khan that says she’s here to stay. Her casualness, composure in front of the camera was quite visible as she debuted on 'Koffee With Karan' with father Saif Ali Khan. This is how she won hearts with the show.

Set to make her Bollywood debut next month with ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, Sara in an interview opened up about nepotism. Not one to mince words, Sara said, "This(Nepotism) has become a conversation back home recently more than it was, this word nepotism a lot of people talk about and I don't think I can run away from that. I think it will be hypocritical and wrong for me to say that it doesn't exist." Watch 'Kedarnath' trailer here.

She continued: "There are perks of being an insider. The main perk is access. I could go to Rohit sir's office and say, sir, would you please consider me for Simmba. That's a privilege. So the access that my parents have worked so hard to enable me to have is not something I can deny or something that I can run away from.”

She also added that however many advantages it guarantees, it also puts added on pressure and that if ‘star kids’ aren’t good enough then they will be asked to leave.

Sara’s first film will release on December 21. Her second film 'Simmba' with Ranveer Singh will release a week later on December 28.
