As #MeToo engulfs a number of personalities, the need for A-listers in Bollywood to speak up for those harassed increases by every passing day. In what can be called a smart move by Salim Khan, a prominent Bollywood scriptwriter and father of Salman Khan; he has spoken in support of all those who have come out with their #MeToo stories.

Taking to Twitter, Salim wrote about what is wrong with people’s approach to these harassment stories. He wrote:  "The only defence they have is "Why so late ?” It is better late than never. You don’t have to wait for the result, you have already won great public support. Aadmi pahad se gir kar khadda ho sakta hai…apni nazron se girkar nahin."
