Rejoice Chinese Marvel fans! 'Avengers: Endgame' slated to release in China before US

Good news for Chinese fans of Marvel as the upcoming film ‘Avengers: Endgame’ will release in their country before it does in the US. 

Disney announced that ‘Endgame’ will open in China on April 24 while it comes out in the US on April 26. This is probably being done so that the Chinese box office can capitalise on Labour Day offs from May 1 to May 4.

This is in contrast to the previous film ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ that came to China in April 2018 but debuted a full two weeks after launching in the US and major international markets. It opened to $199.3 million in China. 

On another note, there is an Indian connect to the upcoming film as A R Rahman has been roped in to compose songs for the Indian versions of 'Avengers: Endgame'
