Rachel Bloom surprised fans with pregnancy news soon after she won an Emmy

Rachel Bloom had a big night yesterday as she not only won an Emmy but announced to the world that she is pregnant, that obviously made her fans on social media go crazy with the announcement. 

She won the Emmy for best original music and lyrics. See the full list of winners here. 

She announced the news backstage at the Creative Creative Arts Emmy Awards. She joked that she was planning to do it on Instagram but said that doing it at Emmys was even better.

She said, "I'm three months pregnant and I get to tell my child she was with me when this happened, which is pretty f--king cool."

Meanwhile, she won the Emmy along with Adam Schlesinger and Jack Dolgen for the song ‘Antidepressants Are So Not A Big Deal’. She along with others beat out other nominees from shows such as ‘Documentary Now’ and ‘Saturday Night Live’.

She is best known for her stint on ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.’
