The Queen and Prince have been in isolation since March.

As the coronavirus crisis doesn’t seem to slow down, British press accounts confirm that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip will continue to stay safe and isolated at Windsor Castle. The Queen will avoid her annual summer stay at Balmoral.

The Queen and Prince have been in isolation since March.

There have also been announcements on the front of any public engagements as the Buckingham Palace will be closed for the summer and events including Trooping the Colour and Her Majesty’s garden parties cancelled.

Since its implementation, this will be the first time in history that the Queen has been absent from her official duties in her 68 year reign.

At present, the Queen and Prince Philip are being served by a small household staff.

Queen Elizabeth’s last public appearance was at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey in March. It was also the last event for her grandchild Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle as royals. The young couple has since been in Los Angeles.
