Priyanka and Salman had a fallout after she walked out of his film ‘Bharat’.

Looks like the fight between Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra will take an ugly turn as the actress recently took a slight dig at Khan at the wrap-up party of her Bollywood comeback film.

As Priyanka greeted the media cheerfully at the wrap-up function of her film ‘The Sky Is Pink’ in Mumbai yesterday, she took a slight dig at Salman Khan’s film ‘Bharat’ that she walked out of before signing this film with director Shonali Bose.

At the party when she was asked why she chose this film to make her comeback after a gap of two years, she said, “Amid various options at that point, everyone questions me about why this movie? Why not this tent-pole, potboiler with song and dance”. Siddharth Roy Kapur, who co-produced the film can then be heard interrupting her and asks, “Priyanka, which film are you talking about?” to which they all burst into laughter.

Priyanka and Salman had a fallout after she walked out of his film ‘Bharat’, a few days before shooting was to begin. She had then told Salman and the producers that she was to get married to Nick Jonas and did not have dates to spare for the film. Katrina Kaif replaced Priyanka in the film. Salman had even mentioned Priyanka in numerous occasions when he said that people would leave their husbands for such a film but Priyanka did the opposite.

Priyanka then soon announced this project as well as a Hollywood project with Liam Hemsworth.

'The Sky Is Pink' is co-produced by Priyanka, Siddharth and Ronnie Screwvala. It will release on October 11, this year. This will be her first Hindi film since marriage as she was last seen in 2016 film ‘Jai Gangaajal’.
