Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas share stunning inside photos of their mehendi function

Priyanka Chopra is officially taken! India’s favourite ‘desi girl’  is now officially Mrs Jonas. The actress exchanged vows with singer Nick Jonas in a private Catholic ceremony in Jodhpur on Saturday which had strict no-mobile phones policy.

Hours after their wedding, the newlyweds shared images of their Mehendi ceremony on their social media pages with matching captions. The couple wrote, “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.”

Dressed in a multi-colour lehenga, Priyanka looked beautiful and glowed in happiness. Nick can be seen wearing traditional Kurta-Pyjama. The photos have the bride and the groom enjoying a bright sunny day out at Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur surrounded by their loved ones.One of the photos also has Priyanka’s cousin, Parineeti and actress Sophie Turner who is engaged to Nick’s brother Joe.

The couple will have a Hindu wedding on Sunday and we can’t wait to see the breathtaking photos of the ceremony.
