The Los Angeles Police Department has opened an internal affairs investigation into the murder of rapper Nipsey Hussle. This comes as a front desk officer’s response in the aftermath of the murder.

It was confirmed by the department’s Office of the Inspector General on Monday, July 1.

The investigation brings to light the woman who drove the alleged shooter, Eric Holder, from the scene. They had gone to the 77th Street station because her car was on the news. She was turned away by a desk officer who told her not to worry about it.

The said woman was called again by the police while Holder denies all charges and pleads not guilty.

For those unversed, Nipsey Hussle’s death was one of the major talking points earlier this year. His real name was Ermias Asghedom and he was an underground phenomenon through his mixtapes for a decade before his major break last year.
