Oscars 2020: India's 'Gully Boy' drops out of final race, check out which films made it

Sad news alert coming straight from Hollywood as Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gully Boy’ did not make it to the final list at Oscars 2020.
The Academy revealed its shortlisted names across different categories and one that caught our attention was the International Feature Film list that was previously popularly known as Best Foreign Language Film category. India sent ‘Gully Boy’ this year at the Oscars hoping that finally Apna Time Aayega but alas.
Ten films were announced to have made it to the final list and ‘Gully Boy’ missed a mention. The ten films that made it to the final cutoff for Oscars 2020 are ‘The Painted Bird’ from Czech Republic, ‘Truth and Justice’ from Estonia, ‘Les Misérables’ from France, ‘Those Who Remained’ from Hungary, ‘Honeyland’ from North Macedonia, ‘Corpus Christi’ from Poland, ‘Beanpole’ from Russia, ‘Atlantics’ from Senegal, ‘Parasite’ from South Korea, ‘Pain and Glory’ from Spain.
The shortlisted films across different categories were also announced including that in Documentary Feature, International Feature Film, Music (Original Score), Music (Original Song), Live-Action Short Film, Make-Up and Hairstyling, Documentary Short Subject, Animated Short Film and Visual Effects.
