No, Idris Elba will not be the next James Bond

In what could be a major blow (or not) to James Bond franchise, after the walkout of director Danny Boyle from the next film in the series, now Idris Elba who was being considered for the role reportedly has confirmed that he will not be a part of it. 

Earlier this month, rumours suggested that Idris Elba was in the running to play the next 007, world’s famous spy. It all paced up when Idris took to social media to post something only the Bond himself does. This is what he posted. 

But he quashed all hopes of him becoming James Bond when at the premiere for his directorial debut 'Yardie', Idris said that he won’t be Daniel Craig’s successor. 

When asked if people were looking at the next Bond, Idris flatly said, “No.”

This simply means that Daniel Craig will be romanticising yet another beauty, jump some mean machines and kill enemies of the state.
