Michael B. Jordan in passionate speech calls out Hollywood for skewed 'black hiring'

As celebs continue to participate in Black Lives Matter protests across the US, Michael B. Jordan made an appearance at an Los Angeles area protest.

As he took the mic, ‘Black Panther’ star Michael said that Hollywood must “commit to black hiring” in a memorable speech. 

He was heard saying, “You committed to a 50/50 gender parity in 2020. Where is the challenge to commit to black hiring? Black content led by black executives, black consultants. Are you policing our storytelling as well? Let us bring our darkness to the light.”

The actor also spoke against police brutality and social injustice in his speech.  

He had also played an African American man killed by a police officer in the 2013 film ‘Fruitvale Station’.
