In a statement on Thursday, the Palace announced that The Royal Foundation will continue to run without the involvement of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Things have not been very pleasant in the royal household ever since Meghan Markle got married to Prince Harry.

In a fresh announcement, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have split from The Royal Foundation that will now solely be looked after by Kate Middleton and Prince William.

In a statement on Thursday, the Palace announced that The Royal Foundation will continue to run without the involvement of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The statement reads: “The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex has today announced the conclusions of a review into its structure, and how it will best support Their Royal Highnesses with future charitable activity.”

It further reads: "Later this year The Royal Foundation will become the principal charitable and philanthropic vehicle for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will establish their own new charitable foundation with transitional operating support from The Royal Foundation. In addition, both couples will continue to work together on projects in the future, including on The Foundation’s mental health program, Heads Together."

According to a report in The Mirror, the joint charity will be renamed later this year as the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
