Margot Robbie shares first look as Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'

As Margot Robbie joins Quentin Tarantino’s next film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, she shared the first look of her character on Instagram today. 

Margot will be essaying the role of actress Sharon Tate who was murdered in real life by cult followers of Charles Manson (known popularly as Manson’s family). She was the modelling film star wife of widely acclaimed director Roman Polanski. She was killed 8 August 1969. 

This will Quentin’s tenth film. 

With this, Margot joins an all-star ensemble including Brad Pitt, Burt Reynolds, Dakota Fanning, Damien Lewis and Leonardo DiCaprio. This is how Brad and Leonardo will look in the film. Apparently, Al Pacino is also a part of the film. 

Earlier in an interview, Margot described working with Quentin as: “...something I've always dreamed of doing,” adding: “I want to see how he runs a set, and how he directs people, and what the vibe is onset, and what's in the script, and then what happens on the day. I'm just fascinated by all of it, fascinated. So it's going to be a crazy experience to witness it firsthand.”

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is set in 1969 Los Angeles and follows struggling stars Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), the former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt) who tap up their famous next-door neighbour for a helping hand - Sharon Tate (Robbie).

The film will be released in August 2019.
