Kartik and Kriti’s ‘Luka Chuppi’ also made it to the list of top five openers of 2019. Adarsh took to his Twitter and shared the top five openers of 2019.

After ‘Gully Boy, ‘Total Dhamaal’, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ and ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, ‘Luka Chuppi’ became the fifth highest weekend opener of 2019.

‘Luka Chuppi’ sees Kartik and Kriti as a couple who are in love and inspired by the concept of live-in relationship, decide to live together without actually tying the knot.  Read 'Luka Chuppi' review here.

Everything seems to be working out fine till their respective families get involved and Kartik’s parents start living with them.

Meanwhile, Sushant`s film is a dacoit drama, directed by Abhishek Chaubey. Set in the 1970s, `Sonchiriya` also features Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in key roles.
