Karan Johar, Gauri Khan recreate 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' iconic poster but where is Shah Rukh Khan?

Most Shah Rukh Khan fans would agree that ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ will always be incomplete without the star himself, if ever Karan Johar plans to give the film a new life. 

While Karan Johar still has no plans to remake ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, he did, however, recreate the film’s iconic poster look with Shah Rukh Khan’s better half, Gauri. Karan Johar posed with Gauri and a friend as they recreated the poster featuring Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kajol in leading roles. 

Karan, who was the original filmmaker, dressed up as Rahul (Khan’s character) while Gauri channelled her inner Tina (Rani Mukerji’s role) and their friend Kaajal Anand did Kajol’s part in the look. The three wore similar outfits as shown in the original poster. While at first glance you will think it features only the trio, if you swap and move to the next photos you will also spot Shah Rukh Khan in one photo. 

Karan Johar captioned the photos, "So BREAKING NEWS😂! We attended our dear friends @bindraamritpal’s 90’s BOLLYWOOD theme bash! So KKHH it was for us! @gaurikhan channelled her inner TINA @putlu channelled ANJALI and me ofcourse had to be RAHUL !!! Don’t miss the most embarrassed @iamsrk photobombing our poster recreation!" as he shared them on Instagram. 

The fans of the film as well as those who love Shah Rukh Khan took to the photos to share their love, with many asking for a remake. 

'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' has remained one of the most-loved romantic films of all-time. The movie is also credited to have made Shah Rukh Khan, the king of romance. It released in 1998 and was a massive success at the box office.
