Kanika Kapoor to donate plasma after recovery from COVID-19: Report

Kanika Kapoor who recovered from COVID-19 has decided to donate her plasma to the patients who are fighting the disease. 

Before she donates her blood, doctors will make sure that she is a healthy donor.

A team of doctors will visit Kanika's home from King George Medical (KGMU), Lucknow. They will check her blood to see if she can donate the plasma, according to reports.

Kanika had tested positive for COVID-19 in March and after four consecutive tests after which she tested negative and was allowed to leave the hospital. As she was the first celebrity who was tested positive of COVID-19.

Recently, the singer also penned down an Instagram post in which she opened up about her coronavirus diagnosis and also said that her health was normal when she attended a lunch and a dinner hosted by a friend.

The 42-year-old singer has been slammed and has also been booked for not quarantining herself and attending social events post her return from the United Kingdom.
