<p>The first trailer of Joaquin Phoenix in and as ‘Joker’ came out today on Wednesday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Oscar-nominated actor takes up the role of the classic villain in the film as DC releases a superhero film after long. The last couple of months have been all about Marvel's as it keeps coming up with one ‘Avengers’ film after another.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The makers also released the first poster of the film as the Joker was seen looking at the sky with blood on his face. The film carries the tagline: “Put on a happy face”.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The film is directed by Todd Phillips. It also stars Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz and Marc Maron.</p>

<p>‘Joker’ is scheduled on release October 4.</p>
