IU and SUGA’s latest collaboration 'Eight' became a chartbuster instantly after its launch, as they claimed the #1 spot on the US iTunes Chart.
After the official release on Wednesday, the song topped the iTunes singles chart in the United States, France, Singapore Malaysia, the Philippines and 52 other countries
The music video has gained over 12 million views in less than a day after its release. The song also topped other major music charts immediately after its release, including Melon, Genie Music and more.
This is Suga's latest high-profile music collaboration of this year outside of BTS, as he earlier worked with many prominent female singers like Halsey and veteran Korean singer Lee So-ra.
