The Palace is home of the former royal family of Jodhpur and is the sixth largest private residence in the world. Go on, drool!

It has just been a day since Bollywood fans were teased with drool-worthy images of newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, straight from Italy and now we have information on Priyanka Chopra’s wedding venue in India. Yes, you read that right.

Priyanka Chopra and her American fiance Nick Jonas will reportedly tie the knot on December 2 at the plush Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India. It is a real palace that has been converted into a 5-star resort where several Hollywood A-listers and British royals have enjoyed a comfortable stay over the years.

While it was not clear before which palace the Indian superstar has shortlisted, it has now been revealed that Umaid Bhawan has caught her fancy. There are reports that the bride-to-be will even make a visit to the place with her future-in-laws (Nick Jonas’ parents) before the wedding.

Priyanka and Nick both, also celebrated their bachelorette and bachelor trip recently so we are assuming that the wedding is likely to happen this year.

Now coming to the details of the wedding venue, the palace which is touted as the last living one in India ( as it is home of the former royal family of Jodhpur and is the sixth largest private residence in the world) will offer the couple incredible views of the majestic 14th Century Mehrangarh Fort from their private terrace. Stretching across 26 acres of land (including 15 acres of gardens), the desert sandstone estate sits on the highest point of the city, Chittar Hill.

The wedding celebrations will take place from November 30 to December 2 reportedly. The pre-wedding events will also include a Christian ceremony. Apparently, the couple will wed according to both Hindu and Christian traditions, honouring their backgrounds. A source close to the couple revealed: “Nick will wear ivory and Priyanka will be in red, while the bridesmaids will wear Ralph Lauren outfits for the Christian wedding because the couple wore the brand at their first public appearance together at the Met Gala last year.”

The couple threw a grand engagement party to Priyanka's Bollywood friends. See pictures here.

We can’t wait for this wedding to happen!
