In pics: Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor stuns in red at le Bal des Débutantes in Paris

Glowing in a custom red gown, Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya took over at the prestigious le Bal des Débutantes in Paris, the most glamorous debutante ball in the world. 

Shanaya chose a ruffled red Lecoanet Hemant gown with a plunging neckline.

Both parents, Sanjay Kapoor and wife Maheep shared stunning images and videos of their daughter as they wrote how proud they felt at their daughter’s debut at the ball. 

Shanaya made her entry at the ball with her cavalier Maximilian Hindmarch. Sanjay shared a video of them and wrote, “So proud of you. #lebal #paris.” He can also be heard cheering for her on in the background.

Mother Maheep also shared pictures of Shanaya and wrote, “That’s my girl.” She also shared a picture of her with Maximilian and wrote, “The sweetest cavalier.”

In an earlier interview, Sanjay said that he will have the first dance with his daughter. “It feels great that Shanaya has been chosen to represent India. I will be escorting her down the stairs, and her first dance will be with me. This is very special for her, and I am sure she will cherish the experience. The best part is that she will get a chance to interact with people from all over the world and get an insight into their cultures.”

On the work front, Shanaya is working as an assistant director on Sharan Sharma’s ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’. The film features her cousin Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role.

Meanwhile in 2017, Chunky Pandey’s daughter, Ananya, made her debut with Jaipur’s Maharaja Padmanabh Singh and Princess Gauravi Kumari, at le Bal.
