It was a visual delight to see Ranbir and Alia together -- after they both missed several high-profile functions at home, including Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra’s respective weddings.
With the world soaked in New Year fever as we wake up to 2019 on January 1 today, lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt posed for some pretty pictures as they celebrated NYE with family. The Kapoors -- Ranbir, father Rishi, mom Neetu Singh and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, with her husband Bharat and daughter Samara -- are in New York. A face you can’t miss is Alia Bhatt who was seen giving company to Ranbir.
The Kapoors had a family dinner as they celebrated the big day. Ranbir’s sister Riddhima wrote: “La familia Happy New year from all of us to y’all #mydaddystrongestcoolest.”
Rishi and Neetu, have been in New York since September this year as the former gets treated for an undisclosed ailment.

Deepika and Ranveer Singh got married first, followed by Priyanka and Nick Jonas. Ranbir was last seen at the annual Christmas lunch at late Shashi Kapoor’s residence, thrown by Kunaal Kapoor.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are busy with ‘Brahmastra’. Alia also has ‘Kalank’ and ‘Takht’.
