'Hotel Mumbai' trailer: Dev Patel's new film looks back at 26/11 Mumbai attacks

The 2008 terror attacks in Mumbai changed the political climate of the subcontinent. Now Australian filmmaker Anthony Maras brings 'Hotel Mumbai' - a film based on those attacks. 

Starring Dev Patel, Anupam Kher Armie Hammer and Jason Isaacs, the film will re-tell the incidents that took place on 26th November 2008 and how a group of terrorists took the Taj Hotel under hostage for three days. 

The film premiered earlier this year at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival where it earned critical appreciation. Variety highlighted the “hundreds of hours of firsthand research” put in by Maras and co-writer John Collee and called the movie “a formidable achievement.”

Earlier Kher shared the first teaser poster of the film. 'Hotel Mumbai' is set to release on Netflix in 2019.
