With escalating tensions between India and China at Ladakh’s Galwan Valley, it was a sad day yesterday as at least 20 Indian army personnel were martyred. 

As the news of their face-off with Chinese counterparts reached social media, Bollywood celebs paid their condolences to the martyrs’ families. 

Among the first was Akshay Kumar who tweeted, "Deeply saddened by the death of our bravehearts in #GalwanValley. We will forever be indebted to them for their invaluable service to the nation. My heartfelt condolences to their families 🙏🏻"
