Farhan Akhtar's birthday wish for Shibani Dandekar sparks link-up rumours

Farhan Akhtar has been touring Canada as part of his 'SelfTour2018' with his band and composers Shankar, Ehsan and Loy. The actor has been regularly sharing updates on Instagram and keeping his fans up to date. 

One Insta story shared by Farhan has got people speculating about his love life. The filmmaker-actor-singer shared a picture of model-VJ Shibani Dandekar on Monday and wished her on her birthday.  While most would think that it's a regular wish, the kiss emojis attached to the message has made people think otherwise. Shibani is VJ Anusha Dandekar's elder sister.

Rumours of Farhan and Shibani seeing each other have been doing the rounds for sometime now. Akhtar, who divorced Adhuna Bhabani in 2016 was earlier rumoured to be dating Shraddha Kapoor with whom he worked in 'Rock On 2'. But the two seemed to have broken up for good and Farhan has since then grown close to Shibani Dhandekar, states a daily.

According to media reports, Farhan and Shibani first met on the sets of a reality show, three years ago but they started dating only recently. The actor had a few weeks shared a photograph with Shibani and other friends during their time in London. 

Meanwhile, the actor will be seen next in Shonali Bose's film opposite Priyanka Chopra.
