Ed Sheeran finally confirms he is married to longtime girlfriend Cherry Seaborn

Singer Ed Sheeran who is best known for belting out hit songs like ‘Shape Of You’ and ‘Perfect’ has now confirmed that he is married. 

He’s gotten married to his childhood sweetheart Cherry Seaborn.

He admitted to being married on YouTube show Charlamagne Tha God. 

Sheeran even hinted that he wrote one his popular songs, ‘Remember The Name’ keeping his wife in mind. He said, "Watch how the lyrics in this song might get twisted. My wife wears red but looks better without the lipstick” and added, “It was actually before I and Cherry got married and I knew that we'd be married by the point that the song came out. I thought someone's gonna hear that and be like, 'Oh, they're married!' I didn't know how that would be construed, but obviously, it's already come out."

Fans of the singer have been speculating on his wedding for over a year now. 

According to a source close to the singer quoted in The Sun, "Ed got married a few days before Christmas. It was very quiet - just Ed's oldest school pals, limited family and the priest."

They got married in January of the same year.
