‘Hobbs And Shaw’ is slated for a release in the month of August. The trailer is expected to be out today.
The wait for news on ‘Hobbs And Shaw’ is finally over as makers release the first poster of the upcoming film starring Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson.
The film is a ‘Fast & Furious’ spin-off with the premise being Dwayne Johnson's Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw epic banter.
In the poster released, while Jason Statham is seen alongside a car, Dwayne Johnson poses on a bike. Also, the makers have roped in Idris Elba who is said to play the lead antagonist.
For those who don’t know, Elba was to introduced towards the end of Furious 7 but due to Paul Walker's untimely demise, the climax of that movie was reshot to give him a fitting tribute and Elba's character was deleted from the final film.
The film also features Vanessa Kirby in a prominent role who was last seen in a prominent role in Netflix hit series 'The Crown'.
