Bahl said the two directors have put up false and malicious statements against him.

Vikas Bahl on Thursday filed Rs 10 crore defamation case against two film directors Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane.

The director whose name made headline a couple of days ago, for being accused of sexual harassment by a woman working in Phantom Films, has blamed Kashyap and Motwane for putting up ''false, malicious, unsubstantiated imputations, allegations and statements" against him through their social media platforms.

"They did so with an intent to settle personal scores, exact vendetta and due to professional jealousy with an intent to defame me and destroy my career," said Vikas.

He has also requested the court to ask the two to remove defamatory posts from their social networking sites.

The application list also includes few other names from the media publications.

Vikas was also accused by 'Queen' actress Kangana Ranaut of sexual misconduct a few days ago.
