Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh kickstart anniversary celebrations with a visit to Tirupati temple

Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are celebrating their first wedding anniversary today. The two actors, along with their families visited the Tirumala Tirupati temple on Thursday early morning. The temple is in Tirupati town in Andhra Pradesh. 

Dressed in a red and gold saree, Deepika looked like a new bride as she posed with her husband, Ranveer Singh in the temple complex. Ranveer was dressed in a simple kurta-pyjama and a gold jacket for the occasion. The outfits were by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee who had also designed their wedding outfits a year back.

On Wednesday evening the couple was spotted at Mumbai's private airport as they left for Tirupati along with Ranveer's father.
According to reports, the couple will be also be visiting Padmavati Temple on Thursday and then the two families will fly to Amritsar to offer prayers at the Golden Temple on November 15 and then head back to Mumbai. 

Deepika posted a photo on Thursday from her visit to the temple and wrote, "As we celebrate our first wedding anniversary, we seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.Thank You all for your love, prayers and good wishes! @ranveersingh"

The couple tied the knot in a two-day ceremony in Lake Como, Italy last year. They hosted three receptions later in India.
