Deepika Padukone on Katrina Kaif: I've always been fond of her, I made my peace

A lot has gone down between Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif in the past, with their shared past (having dated Ranbir Kapoor at one point of time in their lives). There is nothing between Katrina and Ranbir as he is in a relationship with Alia Bhatt and Deepika has clearly moved on, considering she recently got married to Ranveer Singh. 

Deepika and Katrina seem to get closer ever since Katrina made a shocking appearance at Deepika’s reception party in Mumbai.

In an interview, when Deepika was asked about the gesture, she said, "A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her). I've always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she's been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her."

This comes after Katrina spoke kindly of the two (Deepika and Ranveer) in an interview. She said,  "It was a really warm and fun evening and we all had a good time. There was a lot of love and we all danced and ate and had great fun! I was there till the wee hours of the morning."

Looks like Deepika and Katrina are letting bygones be bygones. Also, Deepika and Katrina follow each other on Instagram.
