As the industry reels under the loss of actor Sushant Singh Rajput who died by suicide on Monday at his Mumbai residence, there are fresh allegations of “bullying” against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan by film director Abhinav Kashyap.

Ace director Anurag Kashyap’s brother Abhinav directed Salman in ‘Dabangg’ as the film became a superhit. Soon after, he broke off ties with the Salman Khan family.

Calling out the industry, Abhinav said that the Khan family was "trying to take control of (his) career by bullying" him. When he did not give in, his career was threatened where Salman used his star power and went to great lengths to sabotage his career. He mentioned his film with Ranbir Kapoor, ‘Besharam’ that Salman used his clout to get delayed. It was the last film that Abhinav directed.

He said, "I know who my enemies are. Let it be known that they are Salim Khan, Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan," also alleging that he received threats by text which he attributes to the brothers.

Abhinav then connected his struggles with that if Sushant and said, "The suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput brings to the forefront a much bigger problem of what many of us have been dealing with. Exactly what might compel a person to commit suicide?? I fear his death is just the tip of the iceberg just like the #metoo movement was for a much bigger malaise in Bollywood."

He also posed a challenge in his letter: "So this is not a threat, it’s an open challenge. Sushant Singh Rajput has moved on and I hope he is happier wherever he is but I will make sure that no more innocent will kill himself over lack of work with dignity in Bollywood. I hope suffering actors and creative artists will share my post on various social media platforms as will the media and people who patronize the entertainment industry."

Meanwhile, Salman along with other celebs have shared tribute posts for last Sushant Singh Rajput -- something that the others are accusing it to be hypocrisy. Saif Ali Khan gets angry at celebs for 'gaining mileage over tragedy' over Sushant Singh Rajput's death

Anurag Kashyap has kept mum on the issue barring a tweet that read: “For the media calling me and people who want to ask , treat this as my statement. More than two years ago , Abhinav  had told me clearly to stay out of his business and it’s not my place to comment on anything he says or does.”
