Confirmed! Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan team up together for Imtiaz Ali's next

Ever since Sara Ali Khan revealed that how she would want to date Kartik Aaryan when she appeared on 'Koffee With Karan', the internet and Ranveer Singh have been trying to pair the two up. If not in real life then for a movie at least. 

Last week, pictures of Sara and Kartik riding a bike on the streets of Delhi went viral on social media. There was also a video of the two kissing. When the actor was quizzed about the videos, he had evaded the questions and instead asked, 'Was it really us?'. 

Now the cat is out of the bag, finally. On Wednesday, Sara took to Instagram to confirm her next film with Kartik Aaryan which will be directed by Imtiaz Ali. Sara posted a photo from the sets, where the two can be seen sharing a hug. The actress captioned the image as, "Honoured, grateful and uncontrollably excited to be a part of Imtiaz Ali `s next! The film starring the much-talked-about duo has gone on floors and will hit theatres on Valentine`s Day 2020.

Kartik was last seen in `Luka Chuppi` alongside Kriti Sanon, while Sara was last seen sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty`s `Simmba`
