South African comedian Trevor Noah had it rough after a recent episode came under fire as he made light of the tension between India and Pakistan. The host of the popular ‘The Daily Show’, Trevor in a video, was heard saying that if a war was to take place between the two neighbouring countries, it would be the “most entertaining” one.

Firstly, he compared India and Pakistan to two warring singers Nicki Minaj and Cardi B who don’t share a good rapport and have been seen criticising one another on social media channels. He then went on to comment on how Indians because of their Hindi film industry (Bollywood) would probably even fight with Pakistan like how they sing their songs.

Twitter users found the said clip and slammed the comedian for his insensitive remarks and labelled him “racist”.

Trevor found himself in the middle of a controversy when he introduced the then best picture nominee ‘Black Panther’ at the Oscars and had some fun with the idea that people think the fictional setting of the country of Wakanda is real.
