Loved ‘Teri Mitti’ from ‘Kesari’? Now, Akshay Kumar, the Bollywood actor who featured in the hit film, is back with a new version of the song that honours doctors for their contribtion in fighting against the widespread of coronavirus.

The video of the new song shows doctors, nurses and other medical stuff braving the novel coronavirus on the frontline and treating patients suffering from the Covid-19 infection.

It also shows pictures of doctors who were attacked while they were collecting samples from suspected Covid-19 patients in Indore. 

The video then shows people holding placards that read, "Stop violence against doctors."

Akshay shared the video saying, "Suna tha doctors bhagwan ka roop hote hai, lekin coronavirus ki iss ladhai mein dekh bhi lia. #TeriMitti Tribute - an ode to our heroes in white, out now."
