Asha Bhosle praises Smriti Irani, says 'she cares and that's why she won'

At the swearing-in ceremony of the new government, leaders from various walks of life gathered at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday to witness the historic event. Several Bollywood stars were also present including actors Shahid Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kangana Ranaut and Rajinikanth. Legendary singer Asha Bhosle was also present and the singer later took to Twitter to praise Union minister Smriti Irani.
Bhosle tweeted a photo with Irani and stated how the minister and MP from Amethi took extra effort to ensure Bhosle went back home safely and quickly. The singer wrote, "I was stranded in the crazy rush post PM oath ceremony. No one offered to help me except @smritiirani who saw my plight & made sure I reached home safely. She cares & that’s why she won.”
