Amitabh Bachchan's look from his Tamil debut film 'Uyarntha Manithan' revealed

Amitabh Bachchan will soon be making his debut in Tamil films with director Tamilvanan's ‘Uyarndha Manithan’. Amitabh will be seen alongside actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah.

Suryah shared the first glimpse of Amitabh from the film on his Twitter handle. He captioned it: "Happiest moment of my life ... thank you God , mom, dad for fulfilling a dream which I have never even dreamt of .... 🙏 toThe evergreen superstar ⁦@SrBachchan ,⁩ sharing it with our super star ⁦@rajinikanth⁩ & Dir ⁦@ARMurugadoss⁩."

When Suryah’s fans asked why he was thanking Murugadoss and Rajinikanth, he wrote: "Ha ha ha .... Dir @ARMurugadoss sir helped me to get this movie on board and our superstar @rajinikanth sir helped me by announcing the project that’s why thanked both of them .... sjs."

In the photo released, Amitabh can be seen in a dhoti, red gamcha and spectacles. He poses at the door of a mud house indicating that the story is possibly based in the countryside. 

The film will be produced by Thiruchendur Murugan Productions. It will be bilingual and also made in Hindi. 

‘Uyarntha Manithan’ is written by Javar Seetharaman. Amitabh has been associated with South Indian cinema when he produced Tamil film ‘Ullasam’ that starred Ajith and Vikram in the lead roles.
