Hollywood actress Amber Heard is now fighting against the distribution of sexually explicit content of individuals without their consent.

A victim of this herself, Amber is putting efforts to make the crime a federal crime.

According to a report in TMZ, Amber was advocating for the 'SHIELD act' on Capitol Hill on Wednesday. The bill emphasises on making the sharing of obscene content without a person's consent, a crime punishable up to five years in prison.

Amber faced something like this in 2014 when hackers posted topless pictures of her online. 

The actress, meanwhile, was in news as she opened up about her time with ex-husband Johnny Depp. She called him a ‘monster’ in a recent interview while Johnny filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against her.
