Nath also went on to say that he is not affected by what people will say after being accused of raping a woman.

Actor Alok Nath, who has been accused of raping senior TV writer-director Vinta Nanda, responded to the allegations on Tuesday with an ambiguous answer.

While speaking to a news channel, the actor said, "Neither am I denying this nor do I would agree with it. It (rape) must have happened, but someone else would have done it. Well, I do not want to talk much about it as for the matter if it has come out, it will be stretched."

Nath also went on to say that he is not affected by what people will say after being accused of raping a woman.

Nath also stated that he was responsible for the writer-producer's success.

He said, "At one time she used to be such a good friend... today she said such a big thing. In a way, it was me who made her what she is."

The actor stated that it was useless to react to such allegations as in today's time as 'whatever a woman says, only that will be considered true and it would be wrong to say anything'.

"He was an alcoholic, shameless and obnoxious but he was also the television star of that decade, so not only was he forgiven for all his bad behaviour but many of the guys would egg him on to be his worst," the writer-producer wrote about Alok Nath's bad behaviour on the sets of  TV show 'Tara'.

Nanda, in an emotional post, reported that how Nath and she were friends at one point of time and worked on the TV show 'Tara'. It was when Nath was ousted from the show, for harassing the show leading lady Navneet Nishan, that things went bad.

Meanwhile, CINTAA has sent a show-cause notice to Nath with its secretary Sushant Singh offering full support to Nanda.
