Aamir Khan on Shah Rukh quitting Rakesh Sharma biopic: Let's wait till he makes an announcement

As reports surface that Shah Rukh Khan might have let go of Rakesh Sharma biopic, Aamir Khan who was earlier supposed to play the part asks all to wait and let Shah Rukh announce the same.

It was earlier said that Aamir backed out of the film leading to the part going to Shah Rukh on former’s suggestion. Now, it seems like Shah Rukh has also given up on the part. 

Interestingly, Shah Rukh has never commented on taking the part or backing out of it. It was only spoken of by Aamir till date. 

During a media interaction,  when Aamir was asked about Shah Rukh backing out of the biopic, he said, “Isn’t Shah Rukh Khan doing that film? Those are only reports, let’s wait until he makes an announcement about it.”

Apparently, there are reports suggesting that Shah Rukh has chosen ‘Don 3’ over ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha’ (Rakesh Sharma biopic). This has now led to Vicky Kaushal being considered for the part on India’s first man in space.

As for Aamir, after ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ he said that he has “four good scripts” to choose from. He added that he will come to know which film he is doing for sure within a month. “This time I have four good scripts! I don’t know which one will be the exact one, as I haven’t 100 per cent zeroed in on that but I’ll know within a month. Most probably I’ll be producing it,” Aamir said.
