Tanushree's lawyer Nitin Satpure said the actor had tried to lodge a case against Nana Patekar and the director, producer, and choreographerof the movie 'Horn Ok Pleasss' in 2008 but the police only lodged an FIR about the attack on her car without mentioning any names.

Tanushree Dutta filed a police complaint against veteran actor Nana Patekar on Saturday for allegedly sexually harassing her on the sets of a film in 2008.

The case has been registered under section — 354, 354 (A), 34 and 509 of Indian Penal Code, her lawyer Nitin Satpure informed media.

"We have all evidence of the incident and we will move to High Court if proper action is not taken by police," Satpure added.

Dutta, in a recent interview, alleged that Patekar had misbehaved with her while filming a song for the 2008 film "Horn Ok Pleasss".

She has filed the complaint at the Oshiwara police station against Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Sameer Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang.

According to Dutta's lawyer, Tanushree Dutta had tried to lodge an FIR against all the accused including Nana Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya and producer Sameer Siddiqui in 2008 but "police made fool of her" as they registered a case only against the incident of attack on her car and did not mention anyone specific names.

"Tanushree Dutta had tried to lodge an FIR against Nana Patekar, Ganesh Acharya and the director and producer of the movie in 2008 but police made fool of her by registering a case only against the incident of attack on her vehicle and didn't mention anyone's name," her lawyer said.

"Since she doesn't know Marathi she was unaware of it. Moreover, she was also in depression due to the harassment that she had undergone due to these people. Now that Tanushree has recovered she decided to take action and registered a case against them," Satpure added.

In a recent TV interview, Tanushree Dutta claimed that Nana Patekar had misbehaved with her on the sets of the 2008 film. During the interview, she also alleged that the actor had the tacit support of the film's makers.

Meanwhile, Widows of farmers in Pandharkavada of Yavatmal district in Maharashtra staged a protest against Tanushree Dutta Saturday and said that the Bollywood actress is "unnecessarily defaming Nana Patekar.

They also burnt Dutta's pictures and effigy.

A protester said, "Nana Patekar has helped us as a brother & such baseless allegations against him are unacceptable."
