Sensex, Nifty at record high in early trade

BSE Sensex jumped 394.88 points in early trade today to a fresh all-time high of 35,476.70.

The Nifty too scaled new record of 10,887.10.

On Wednesday, the Benchmark Sensex had scaled 311 points on government's decision to cut planned market borrowing amount for the current fiscal and global cues including Dow Jones which has hit a record run.

The Sensex closed above the 35,000-mark for the first time ever, while the broader Nifty too ended at a fresh life-time high on unabated buying by participants.

The broader Nifty had surged 88.10 points on Wednesday to close at a new peak of 10,788.55, breaking its previous record of 10,741.55 hit on January 15.
