Fuel prices continue to rise, petrol reaches Rs 71.14 per litre in Delhi, Rs 76.77 per litre in Mumbai

Fuel prices continued to rise on Monday with prices of petrol reaching Rs 71.14 per litre in Delhi and Rs 76.77 per litre in Mumbai.

While diesel prices in the national capital were revised to Rs 65.71, Rs 68.81 in Mumbai, Rs 67.49 in Kolkata and Rs 69.41 in Chennai on Monday.

The prices of petrol were retailed at Rs 73.23 per litre in Kolkata and Rs 73.85 per litre in Chennai.

Petrol prices on Sunday were recorded at Rs 70.95 per litre in Delhi, Rs 76.58 in Mumbai, Rs 73.05 in Kolkata and Rs 73.65 in Chennai on Sunday.

The rise in prices comes amidst the revision of global crude oil prices owing to a possible stifling of supply in the near future.
